Frequently Asked Questions
Who can benefit from therapeutic massage?
Almost anyone can benefit from therapeutic massage. Clients include men and women of all ages as well as minors.
Massage benefits athletes at all levels, those recovering from injury, people who experience chronic pain and patients recovering from surgery. There are many ways that massage can contribute to your total wellness. Call Catherine to discuss how she can help you.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
At your first appointment you will meet Catherine, fill out a brief history form and discuss your overall health as well as your goals for your massage therapy. You will begin your therapy that day.
Depending on what area of your body is being worked on that day, you may be asked to undress, however you will be properly draped for modesty. Modifications can always be made for those who request it. Your total comfort is the goal.
Massage therapy should NEVER be painful. You will feel pressure but if there is pain, please speak up. It should not hurt, and you should not be sore the next day.
Are there any medical conditions that should be discussed before I schedule an appointment?
Yes! Massage therapy is very safe, but it is important for your therapist to understand your health history and any current conditions. Please share any immediate concerns with your therapist when making your appointment. You will discuss your full health history at your first appointment.
Can I still get massage therapy if I am not comfortable lying flat?
Absolutely! We can accommodate you with a comfortable position that will still allow you to get the full therapeutic benefit of your massage session.
What is your cancellation policy?
In order to be respectful of your therapist’s time and to be fair to all clients, any appoinments not cancelled at least 24-hours prior to your scheduled time will result in being charged IN FULL for your appointment. This payment must be made prior to scheduling your next appointment.
If your appointment was part of a “series package”, the missed appointment will be considered a “redeemed” appointment.
How much does massage therapy cost?
Sessions are booked for 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Prices are shown below. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted.
Rate Schedule
60-minutes $ 100 + tax

Do you provide massage therapy for minors?
Yes! We take clients under the age of 18 and treat many student athletes. Parents must sign a consent form for treatment and are invited to observe in the treatment room.
